Have you seen The Great Gatsby movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan? Great contemporary version of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel. I liked the book but I loved the visuals of the movie! Spectacular Gatsby’s parties, his splendor and luxurious lifestyle, lavish interiors, Daisy’s dazzling jewelry and superb dresses fascinated and  inspired me.

For me, there is nothing more glamorous in this world than gold! It gleams in the day and glows at night, it’s irresistible, classy and refined. Gold was and still is an incarnation of splendor and sophistication.

Then, of course, I was kindly asked to step out and  was checked by a nice lady who decided that, although I am not really dangerous, the dress is a killer! She liked it so much! The bow belt (Target) is a cute addition to this golden parade.

The Michael Kors golden snake heels (similar, similar) are additional actors in this star-studded spectacle! Texture, shine, embossed leather and color are a flawless and ultimate match for my purse. The MK logo glitters with many little sparkles in the performance of flash, making these heels Must Keepers!

The picture wouldn’t be perfect without the gold, dazzling jewelry! Michael Kors Camille Crystal-Covered watch is the most stunning piece on your wrist! The dial and bracelet are all crystallized with Swarovski elements that scintillate in the light! Razzle dazzle at its best! The rings are a golden snake (Eva Mendes from NY&Company) and a shell (Sears) with a cluster of shiny stones. The bracelet and necklace set (TJMaxx) is remarkable. I love the snake-like texture of the gold that complements beautifully the python-embossed leather of the bag. The design is captivating with the irregular shapes and collection of brilliant stones. This hot summer, the splendor of the gold in the daytime and the glow of it at dusk speak to me in its glamorous language. The words jingle in my ears: “razzle dazzle, razzle dazzle..”.
