Fashion show in the ballroom? Why not? It clearly seemed so natural to watch the runway show on the great wooden dance floors. Where? In The Ball NY Dance Studios at 131 35th St., right behind Macy’s at Herald Square, NYC.

The event was organized by Fashion Avenue News Magazine and hosted by the great Allison V. Brown.

I had the pleasure to be part of the VIP Press Preview for the couture shows of three emerging fashion designers: Kristina Staykova, Ray Vincente and Tyrell Mason, each of them bringing their distinctive visions and inspirations reflected in the creative designs that were sparkling and captivating attention of all gathered in the ballroom last Saturday.

We saw a lot of crystal embellishments in enchanting haute couture creations by Kristina Staykova, unexpected mix of fabrics and geometrical cuts in Ray Vincente Menswear collection, and glamorous designs with an edge by Tyrell Mason.
